The Fiskars Splitting Axes have a 35 cutting bevel angle for splitting. The blade’s convex shape strengthens the edge to make it less sensitive to fracture. It has perfect balance between the head and the shaft for the most safe, comfortable and efficient use.

The new (patent pending) 3D grip impoves user safety by offering greater control in usage. It also helps to deliver more power, due to less focus on holding the axe. This improved control for the lower hand helps to focus on swing speed instead of holding axe. Its new structural grip adds friction and removes the moisture between the upper hand and shaft during the swing, giving better control.

The axe has an ultra light and durable FiberComp handle, which minimises fatigue and makes the axe virtually unbreakable. The hooked end of the handle prevents the axe from slipping.
